Howard Katz honored by ACS

Prof. Howard Katz will be named a Fellow of the American Chemical Society at an induction cermony this fall. Being named a Fellow of the ACS is an honor bestowed upon scientists who have made outstanding achievements in and contributions to science, their profession, and service to the society. According to ACS President Joseph Franciso, “Whether it’s making new materials, finding cures for disease, or developing energy alternatives, these fellows are scientific leaders, improving our lives through the transforming power of chemistry.”  The 2010 class is only the second class of fellows in the society’s history.
